2 meals from one recipe!

So still no pictures!

I love my crock pot I just don't use it that often because I don't have any really good recipes! I use google but alot of the recipes use crazy random ingredients and I just want some recipes to use with stuff I have on hand! I would love a good pot roast one if anyone has one!

Here is a recipe my mom gave me that is easy and my family absolutely loves:

Brown your chicken breasts ( I use 4 good size ones) in a pan until brown and then in a bowl stir together cream of mushroom cream of chicken cream of celery dry onion parsley flakes salt and pepper and a can or two of water. Add soups and chicken not cut up just the whole breasts in crock pot, cover and cook on high for about 4 hours or until chicken starts to fall apart when touched and then add your veggies. I do whatever I have on hand. Today in my cabinet (have not been to the store in a while) I used can peas 2 can mixed veggies and 2 cans of sliced new potatoes. Then let cook a few more hours! We eat this over biscuits but you can eat over rice noodles potatoes whatever! Its so good! I always have a ton left over and this makes a HUGE amount so tomorrow I will take whats left and make a chicken pot pie! So for my family this is two meals in one! Super delish! Now share yours!

Sorry no pictures! Also sorry this is late been busy with my little ones this week lol! Anywho this week I have done two different Walgreen's Trips and a total of 7 transactions! I will list the transactions in order and what I did. I also started with $19.00 in Register Rewards.

This was my first trip with 5 separate transactions I went at a slow time and if anyone got in line I let them go before me! The cashier was super nice and had no problem doing this! So to recap I got $65 dollars worth of stuff (not including the taxes) for $16.19 OOP but then I got back $39 register rewards which I did use some during my transactions so I walked out with $18.00 in register rewards!

I love signing up for samples! I use so many of them its crazy! Good ideas for all these samples are great for purse over nigth bag and the diaper bag! I have even seen where people sell their samples in lots on ebay! ( I personally use most mine lol but whatever works!) Great for diaper cakes diaper wreaths towel cakes for newly weds gift baskets whatever it is samples are great! I know people who trade for baby samples all the time so they can have stuff for their diaper cakes and what not!

Walmart 2nd trip! (After I realized the Clorox wipes were only $1.00 I went ahead and got a few more because I had .50 off coupons for them!)

5 clorox wipes $5.00 minus 3 .50 off coupons making my total OOP $3.80! I figure not on sale these are $2.54 so I paid for 5 what I would normally pay for 1.5 containers of these lol!

But lets not forget I have a SC Johnson rebate which the pledge wipes and candles qualify for and once I get my hefty plates (which I will get coupons for) I will do two of the snow white rebates for $5.00 each getting my back $15.00 in checks making my total even lower! $21.71 is how much it will be like I spent now adding in the cost of the plates I say no more then 4.00 for both I will use coupons it will be around $25.00 and change for everything!!! Not bad!!!

Easy Cinnamon Rolls (From Paula Deen's kids cookbook!)

I got this out of Paula Deens cook book for kids! Taylor helped me make them! She loves cooing! So they were easy and the kids loved them! Taylor put the marshmallow in the center and mixed the cinnamon sugar for me lol!

Paula Deens Kids cinnamon rolls

1 can refrigerated crescent rolls 8 count

8 large marshmallows

cinnamon sugar, made by mixing 1\2 cup sugar with 1 teaspoon cinnamon.

1) Preheat oven to 375 degrees

2) Separate the dough into 8 triangles. Place 1 large marshmallow in the middle of each triangle. Sprinkle marshmallow with cinnamon sugar.

3) Bring up all of the sides of the roll completely to cover the marshmallow, pinching all of the edges together so that none of the marshmallow shows.

4) Cover the cookie sheet with a piece of parchment paper. Place the rolls on the parchment paper, making sure none of them are touching. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

5) Bake the rolls for about 10 minutes, until they are light brown and puffed up. Then remove from oven.

6) Serve warm on plates, with forks to eat them with.

*I have enough cinnamon sugar to make home made donuts either tonight for desert or tomorrow for breakfast! Both kids and dh will be excited about this!*

Today I ran into Kroger because I heard a rumor the Hefty one zip baggies were on sale for $1.00. Well they were wrong but they were not quite a $1.00 but they were only $1.25. So I had 20 coupons for $1.00 off one from where I stocked up on these when they were free at Walmart. I saw a lady and she wanted a few so I gave her 4 coupons to make them $1.00 for 4. So I got 16 bags of Hefty one zip and a Barbie alphabet activity book (10 for $10). So out of pocket after tax and all it was $6.26. After I got to the car I was upset because I forgot to use my $3.50 OYNO coupon!! :O( Oh well I need some make up anyways lol so I will just use it on that!
