Two of my favorite cookbooks!

I love cook books! I collect cook books! I have a ton of cookbooks I cant even count them all lol and that is with me scaling down and getting rid of some lol but out of all of mine these two are my absolute favorites other then my community school and church ones too lol!

I found it so much easier and better for my budget to meal plan this way I can go and see what is in my cabinets and then make a list for the store to get only what I need and that only no impulse buying!

Kmart trip and mine does not even double!

So went to Kmart today to check out the clearance toy section and found some cool stuff. While I was there I checked to see what baby stuff they had noticed the OYNO offer on the Huggies that they were doing and had some good coupons for them (my store does not double at all!) So I bought the following:

2 packs of Huggies pullups
2 packs Huggies Pure and Natural
1 Huggies Refill wipes
1 Huggies small wipes

Used 2 $5 Huggie pullups coupons 2 $3 Huggies Pure & Natural coupons 1 $1 wipes coupon and a coupon for free Huggies wipes refill package so after my coupons I paid $27 and change for all that but got back the $14 OYNO so did not think that was to bad.

I then turned around and bought the following toys:

Diego dinosaur mountain retails for $50
Diego Dinosaur fossil talking toy retails for $21.99
Diego larger figure toy with pieces retails for $8.99
My little Pony craft kit
Barbie cell phone
Clifford puzzle

I forgot what the last 3 retailed for however I used my $14 off coupon and only paid $18.00 OOP for all those toys! I was so very excited ! I paid around $45 or $46 something like that for everything today and the Diego toy by its self was $50 ! I am pretty happy with my trip!

Target Trip good trip no pics

Sorry no pics camera dead! So as I was walking out of Kroger I spotted a tear pad with coupons for batteries and banna boat the bannana boat was for $2.00 off any ONE product excluding lip care and sticks!! Nothing about trial sizes so I ran to target spur of the moment to check this deal out lol! Got there and the trial sizes are .99 each giving me $1.01 overage for each one I buy. Well my Target does not have a ton of groceries and I did not want to get a cart full of stuff in case it did not work lol so I grabbed this cutsie little first aid kit pirate themed so cute could not find a pic of it online but it came with a coldpack bandaids antiseptic swabs and a box to hold it in for the diaper bag it was $9.19 and got 2 boxes of nexacare mickeys club house bandaids @ $1.74 each and my son started throwing a fit for a snack so gerber graduate puffs @ 2.19 and then got my 10 bannana boat sunscreens @.99 each so it went like this total before coupons $26.61 after my 10 coupons for $2.00 off and 2 coupons for 1.00 off for the bandaids I paid after tax $4.11 and we can get that back becuase my dh does that medicare spenddown where he pays so much per month from his check so we can get money back lol! I asked before the coupons and she said that was fine lol I should have gotten one or two more to no have had to pay but the tax lol oh well... Still a good trip!

My Kroger Shopping Trip! July 5th 2009

No pictures sorry got back from vacation and the camera is dead lol gotta find the charger and charge this bad boy up lol! Todays trip was pretty good not awesomely fantastic but pretty good considering I got meat too!

Perdu Chicken perfect portion chicken breasts $6.99

Perdu Chicken tenders $2.55 (I like these for when I make casserolles and have to chop the chicken anyways lol)

So total before coupons and sales was $39.62 Total after coupons and sales and Kroger card was $16.40! So like I said not fantastic but still pretty good!!!

Todays small Kroger trip

So like I said in the last post we are going to the beach for vacay soon I needed to run and get some little swimmers since I forgot them last night well I went to walmart last night and they were like $9.00 and something so I remembered seeing them at Kroger for $6.99 so I ran in there and got a them and a few more things I found coupons for.

I got the following:

Huggies Little Swimmers swim pants $6.99

Capri sunrise orange $1.84

Chips ahoy cookies snack size bag $1.67

Gerber Graduates veggie puffs (son started screaming for these anything to hush him up lol)

Sauve deodarant X3 $1.00 each

Total before coupons came too: $19.11

Coupons I used were:

$2.00 off when you buy chips ahoy cookies 8 oz or larger and one capri sun product

$1.00 off capri sunrise product

$1.00 off little swimmers

.50 off any sauve deodarant X3 all doubled to $1.00

$2.50 catalina from last nights trip

So Total OOP after sale and coupons was $6.91! Not bad thats less then what the swimmers would have costed me lol!

MY KROGER TRIP (NO PICS)

I wanted to post pics but we are leaving soon for Gulf Shores Alabama and had to pack lol! I hit the Kroger up for snacks for the trip for the kids so no unplanned stops lol! So I did the Daytona offer for the additonal $3.00 off...

1.00 off any oreo cakesters ( my daughters new fave shes 3 lol)
.50 off any 2 betty crocker fruit snacks X2 both doubled to $1.00 off
1.00 off any Kraft BBQ sauce X2 (this gave me overage)
1.00 off from a catalina
2.00 off any meat when you buy any 2 particiapating kraft products (wich was the bbq sauce however the cashier just got frustrated by this coupon not sure why and gave me my meat for free so $3.58 off even though I told her twice its just for $2.00 off but she was like ah whatever I am doing it this way lol so I was like okay after the second time of trying to tell her to only take the $2.00 off lol...)
$3.00 off for daytona deal

Grand total was $13.75! For a savings of $23.95 and I got back a $2.50 catalina for the fruit snacks deal.

I know this was alot of snacks but we are feeding 4 kids 4 and under lol and 6 adults lol!
