Stop by Toys R Us this week for a great deal on Hasbro games.

Here’s the scoop. Hasbro has teamed up with Toys R Us to offer $69 in mail-in rebates on games.After rebate you’ll be able to get preschool games like Candy Land, Chutes & Ladders, Memory, Hi Ho Cherry-O, Don’t Break the Ice and Ants in the Pants for just $1.99.

You’ll pay $3.99 at Toys R Us, but each is eligible for a $2 rebate.

Even better, when you spend $25 on Hasbro games, you’ll get a $10 Toys R Us gift card.

Here’s what you could do:

Buy 7 games for $27.93

Apply for $14 in rebates ($2 for each game)Receive $10 gift cardSpend $3.93 on 7 games!

Quick note that you must purchase only one of each $3.99 game since you may only apply for each rebate once. Also, the themed or character versions of the games are not eligible for this rebate offer (e.g., Disney Princess edition of Chutes & Ladders).

My total OOP for all of this was $6.60!!!


Then I went to Target! Wont go into the details but I will tell you I hit up the Halloween 75% off and got some Tag Jrs. My total was $160.61 but OOP I only spent $ 58.36

Our Target had their Halloween candy marked down to 50%, but I've heard of some stores already marking there's down more. Don't forget the candy coupons that you can use to get them even cheaper! My daughters birthday is November 4th so I always stock up on the after Halloween deals for her party bags!!

Toys R us "Trade games for gift cards"

Toys R Us now has a "Trade Games for Gift Cards" plan.

You can go to their site and see if you can find a game listed that you have to trade-in.

You'll print the label and ship it and they'll mail you a gift card for the trade-value.

Trading-In games for credit or selling them is a great way to play games for a long time and then get some of the value back to try out new games.

Places that we've had luck either trading-in games, selling them or buying used games from are:

1) Blockbuster Video and Game Stop! So check yours!! Also someone mentioned that they sometimes buy GUC games for cheap and trade them in as well!

This was my first trip with 5 separate transactions I went at a slow time and if anyone got in line I let them go before me! The cashier was super nice and had no problem doing this! So to recap I got $65 dollars worth of stuff (not including the taxes) for $16.19 OOP but then I got back $39 register rewards which I did use some during my transactions so I walked out with $18.00 in register rewards!

Then a few days later I went back and did 2 more transactions!

So to recap I got $27.96 worth of stuff (not including taxes) for $5.64 OOP and I received $24.00 back in register rewards! I was pretty happy with my transactions!
