A fun night

Well the power here went out for a few hours and I have a 3 year old and a 13 month old who were bored so we decided to to have a camp out so daddy made a tent on our bed (we have a tall bed with posts on them so he tied the blanket around the posts) then we watched a dvd on the portable dvd player and ate girl scout cookies and had a tickiling match! It was really fun and we will be doing it again electricity out or not!!

Yup thats right I bought 30 of them lol Kroger is having their mega event dealy and if you buy 10 participating items you get 5 off well you can mix and match but I just wanted the powerades since they are 0 carbs and o calories and both my hubby and I are dieting!!! So I bought 30 of them on sale 10 for 10 so they were 30.00 take the 15.00 off for buy 10 get 5 off (my kroger only allows 3 of these deals per transaction) so we are down to 15.00 then I had 5 free item powerade coupons so now we are down to $10 bucks!! Yay did not think that was to shabby!!!! I am going back in a day or so to do the grocery shopping with my coupons just wanted to hurry and get my powerades in lol!

Kroger trip Feb. 28th 2009

Well me and a friend went and took our 2 oldest kids out to eat! We had some yumm-o mexican food! I love the Vegetarian plate smotherd in white cheese yumm-o! No I am not vegetarian got it one time on accident and loved it lol! Anywho so I had some coupons that expired tomorrow and was not sure when I was going back in to town so I stopped in at the local Kroger and this is what I got:

Getting ready for the yard sale

So for the past 2 years my hubby and I have taken part of the annual 6880 yard sale wich is a 400 mile long yard sale spreading across a few different states one year we made $500 and the last year we made a little over $700 we do this Thursday Friday and Saturday! I tell you what I have met some wonderful people while doing this and have people return to see what we put out! I have 2 small kids so they come to see what clothing and toys I put out! This year with my son now being a year old we will have tons of baby items and some furniture and all their clothing ect not to mention what me and my dh aquire through the year as my wonderfully neat fanatic hubby married a pac rat who loves goodwill lol! Well the time has come and I am done aquiring junk so my attic is full of treasures for this thing lol and I am crossing my fingers we make some good money as I am wanting to pay some stuff off and hopefully go on a small vacation!!! If you live close by you should really check this sale out I have gotten lots of great stuff me and hubby take turns going "shopping" for a few hours at a time and we always find awesome stuff! Better yet if you live off the highway you should so have a sale your self its wonderful money! We start at around 6 or 7 in the morning and people honestly come till dark!!! Like 7:30 or 8:00 lol! We usually have like 5 or more families in our front yard doing this with us so it makes for fun times all of us hanging out selling stuff!!!!

Kroger deals

Well I did the Kroger daytona deal I bought 20 (yes thats right lol 20) boxes of Totino pizza rolls. On sale for $1.25 then had my .35 off one coupon wich doubled to .70 off so then on top of that I got 3.00 off for each 10 I bought so it went something like this Total before coupons would have been 25.00 then with my .35 cents doubled to .70 makes the total 11.00 and then I got another 6.00 off (3.00 per 10) to make the grand total $5.00 for 20 boxes of these pizza rolls. What will I do with them you ask well my kids and the kids I babysit for love these things for snacks... Already have promiced my sister in law and sisters some too lol so they will get eaten up! Just wanted to share in my good deals!

2 oven gloves the kind you wear and it handles high heat take something out of the oven or change a lightbulb or whatever on cleanrace for 2.50 so total after coupons was $9.36 (I had a gift check thing to use cause the GC scanner thing was messed up when we transfered scripts well they would not convert the remaining balance on a GC nor give me change said I had to buy 25 dollars woth of stuff or not use it or lose money so I just paid the cash but I was pissed not sure why they could not have just given me a $15 dollar gift card!

Anyways thats my totals lol all for like 24 bucks give or take lol so excited!
