I am sure many of you know that with the .50 cent of coupon Yakisoba noodles are free to .15 cents at Kroger depending on the area and whether or not your stores double, but they are also free to .02 cents at Walmart. I went the other day and got 12 packages for .02 each and another lady at her Walmart got them for free as they were only .46 cents at her Walmart! Great deal for easy cheap lunches for my husband for work or to donate to a local food pantry!!

If your Rite Aid is out I would suggest ither getting a rain check for them or taking the Rite Aid ad to Walmart and price matching! I just ordered some coupons off eBay and plan on stocking up on these and donating some! Score for free dish soap!!

I was pretty excited today when I checked my mail my box has not been empty in quite awhile! I am a member over at chocolate soup pro boards and its an online trading site where you buy and sell using chips (points) any who its a great group of moms and there is usually always something good being offered! So back to my mail I got a flat rate box stuffed full of size 2T clothes for my little man most all were name brand IE Gymboree Old Navy and more she even sent in a few extras for me woohoo! I also got my package from pay it forward which is a little game we play over there on Chocolate Soup as well. The first person lists what they have to offer and the next person can choose one item off the list and they list what they have to offer so my package came and it was stuffed full... 2 Butterfinger free coupons, 6 dinosaur silly banz for the kiddos, Covergirl lip gloss, gold angel ring and earrings set, blue and white beaded bracelet (both being put up for dd stocking or her birthday), children's triaminic cold and cough, stamps, and a bath and body works pocket bac with holder! I was like a kid on Christmas Morning with all my goodies lol!

Home made detergent and cleaning wipes!!!

So I have been super busy today with the cleaning and the kids but I did manage to squeeze in time to make my own laundry detergent and cleaning wipes! I have been wanting to try these for a while but was scared too! I did not want to waste my time or my money on making these if I did not like them! Well they were fast to make and so super easy!! And really cost effective too!

I can not remember the site I went to for my laundry detergent recipe but if you google homemade laundry detergent recipes tons will pop up! I made the powder kind because it was more faster for me to make it! It was a simple and easy recipe!

1 bar of Fels Naptha

1/2 cup washing soda

1/2 cup Borax

I grated the Fels Naptha and then mixed it with the other 2 ingredients! Mixed until thoroughly mixed about 5 minutes or so and Walla! Finished! I have washed a few loads of laundry with this and so far I really like it! I have a high efficiency machine and the directions said to just use 1 TBSP unless heavily soiled then go up some! It said HE just means you don't have as much water therefore you cant have a sudsy laundry detergent and this is a great detergent for that! Not too sudsy at all!

General Surface Cleaning Recipe:

1 1/2 cups white vinegar
1 1/2 cups water

I then added peppermint essential oil to it so it did not smell like vinegar! Peppermint was all I had! :)

When my friend came to pick up her daughter she said my house smelled great! I had no candles lit all she smelled was the peppermint!

I also used an old diaper wipes plastic case to keep my wipes in and instead of paper towels I used an old clean t shirt cut into squares with a rotary cutter (those things quilt ladies use to cut their fabric lol! My friend cut the squares for me!) I chose the t shirts so I could wash and reuse these!

So far I love both my recipes and as long as I have vinegar water and essential oil I don't see my self going back to those expensive store bought wipes again! :O) This way is better for my wallet and the environment!

2 Great Kroger Trips

I must have through away the receipt for last weeks Kroger Trip but it was pretty awesome! Total before coupons was over 130.00 and I spent $32.00 out of pocket and got back $5.00 on your next order coupon and a coupon for free Nescafe sticks popped out as well! I got the $5 catalina from buying a bunch of clearanced Easter Reece's eggs that I had coupons for so I got them for FREE anyways plus the coupon! Score!!

Yesterdays trip was not as good but still not so bad! Total before sales and coupons was $129.74 after coupons and sales I walked out paying $55.04! I wont bore you with the details but on both transactions I had used a coupon for $20 in free groceries with new or transferred prescription my aunt had given me lol! I also had a bunch of freebie coupons I used! Got my free propel free carrots free eggs free energizer batteries free Digornio pizza bogo free Purex free Vitamin water things like that!

Easter stuff is clearance to 75% off at most stores! Some of these little trinkets make great party favors for birthdays or stocking stuffers or prizes for potty training or what ever! Yesterday at Walmart I got mini base ball games mini tabletop foot ball games mini skeeball games and mini magic 8 balls all for .50 each! None of these say or look Easterish they just have a bunny on the package! No where else does it look Easterish! I bought multiples to put up and now have a great stash of party favors for furture birthdays!

At Walgreens I also found the Nestle Carnation Famous Fudge Kit wich has everything you need except the butter to make 1.5 lbs of fudge! I got 2 of these all they had on mark down to $1.49!! These are good until Nov. 2010 but my family loves fudge not just for speacial occasions either so this was an awesome deal for us!!

What to do with all those freebies you dont need!!

I love freebies! I love checking my mail and my mail box being stuffed full of awesome stuff all for free!

A few tips to use when signing up for freebies!

1) Set up a whole email accont for all your freebies otherwise your normal email will be overloaded with junk and spam!
2.) Don't give them your real phone number or you will be bombarded with telemarketers!
3) I only sign up for completely free deals I rarely ever do the pay shipping or free then you pay after so many months deals... I have to much on my plate then to think about calling and canceling something after 1 month ect! (learned my lesson the hard way a few years back when I first signed up for stuff)
4) I sign up for stuff I don't even need because I can always trade coupons for ones I want sell and donate stuff we don't use!!

What to do with those freebies you don't really need!

1) Magazine freebies... I give these to my kids and their friends when they come over and they cut out pictures and make collages! This was a hit at Christmas time and birthday time my oldest likes to go through and cut out everything she wants and makes a collage of everything and calls it her wish list!

2) Pet freebies... My family currently does not have any pets nor do I for see any in the near future lol so what I do with these is give them to my sister in law as they live way out in the country and everyone drops their unwanted pets out their on their land so I give her mostly everything I get so she is out a little less money on feeding these animals!

No friends and family with pets another great idea is to make up a basket full of all your pet freebies and samples and take it to the local animal shelter or vets office both would be very grateful for your donation!

3) Baby freebies... No babies no problem just take all your baby freebies and samples and make up a basket for one of your friends who are expecting! No friends expecting donate it to your local women's or homeless shelter or you can make up a basket for your local hospital to give to a single mother maybe that has not had any visitors and brighten up their day!

...or you can make up boxes with toiletry's your free food free magazine subscriptions and a few other goodies and send them to the soldiers!!

5) free food samples make up a basket off all the different food samples and donate it to your local food bank women's shelter or homeless shelters!

You can also join a coupon train there are tons of them all over the Internet... Or start one your self... If you get a coupon that will make some free you could always just use it and donate the product!

Just got back from shopping!! Got me a $40.00 Mr. Coffee pot for .42 cents!! Woot Woot!!

I had $10 in gift cards from a previous order at Target the tag on the coffee pot clearance sticker said $19.98 but rang up for $10 used my $10 in gift cards that I got from using coupons paid .42 OOP (I got the gift cards from 2 coupons I had spend $50 get a $5 GC buy a shower cleaner get a $5 GC!! got those on my first transaction did the coffee pot second transaction thinking 10 bucks is still a good deal NOT that sucker rang up $9.98!!!)

Great shopping day!

Toys R Us got toy story 1 & 2 zhu zhu pets ds game with bonus baby and grown zhu zhu pet paid $37.21 saved $45.99!

Target spent $62.86 saved $143.71 (this included toy story 1&2 coffee pot and a ton of other random stuff and I do mean alot!)

Walmart spent $75.76 saved $57.93 but the cashier was a coupon hater lol and would not accept alot of my coupons!

Overall still a great trip I do believe!!

I will try and post pictures when I can my phone is acting up and wont let me download them and my camera and computer decided a few months ago they were no longer compatible with each other! After 2 years they have to go and end things on me!!! I was just so excited I just had to share lol!!

So I went to Walmart and stumbled across a few deals that I thought I would share. I did happen to find the mascara that was free after the coupon in the March All you Magazine! I also found the Tuna snacks that were in the Feb. All you Magazine! Both of these were free!!

They had Prego Heart smart pasta sauces for $1.92 I used the $1.00 off coupon making it .92 cents per jar!

Also found Sea Pack shrimp poppers for $1.52 per box used my $1.00 off any one sea pack item got a few boxes for .52 a box!

Schick st2 razors 10 pack plus the bonus 2 to make a 12 pack $1.97 each used my $3.00 off any one Schick disposable and got them free plus $1.03 overage for each one I bought! (Just had 3 coupons lol)

White Cloud toilet paper $2.00 used my $1.00 off coupon got the 4 pack for $1.00 (now I know this is not the best deal but its not bad. I don't have the single rolls of marcal anywhere around me lol and I have honestly just now used my last of my cottonelle and angel soft I got for free!)

Hot pockets sliders $2.00 a box minus the .75 coupon got for $1.25 each!

Gillette Fusion razor certain ones on Roll back for $6.97 used the $4.00 coupon making them $2.97 each!

Kellogg's 90 calorie crackers $1.98 (I am sure there are coupons for these somewhere lol I personally did not have any but thought this was worth mentioning as they are over $3.00 at our local Kroger's!

Huggies Toddler flushable wipes $1.62 used the $1.00 off one coupon making them .62 each!

Nutripals 4 pack $4.97 used my $3 off coupon making them $1.97 for the 4 pack!

Spam singles $1.19 each used my BOGO coupon making it $1.19 for two or around .60 each!

Prevacid 24 hour heart burn medicine 14 ct. $10.84 used the $6 coupon from the back of the Parade magazine and got these for $4.84! Not to bad for heartburn medicine! (Also I got one for .84 cents as I got my hands on a rare $10.00 off 14 ct. or higher coupon!!) Not sure where this coupon came from I got mine in a coupon train I am a part of!

I love freebies! I love checking my mail and my mail box being stuffed full of awesome stuff all for free! Today was a pretty good mail day! I got a few magazines a free Barbie and the 3 musketeers dvd (from where I won at the pink ticket freebie) and some coupons!!

A few tips to use when signing up for freebies!

1) Set up a whole email accont for all your freebies otherwise your normal email will be overloaded with junk and spam!

2.) Don't give them your real phone number or you will be bombarded with telemarketers!

3) I only sign up for completely free deals I rarely ever do the pay shipping or free then you pay after so many months deals... I have to much on my plate then to think about calling and canceling something after 1 month ect! (learned my lesson the hard way a few years back when I first signed up for stuff)

4) I sign up for stuff I don't even need because I can always trade coupons for ones I want sell and donate stuff we don't use!!

What to do with those freebies you don't really need!

4) lotions bodywash shampoos other toiletry items... These are great for packing if you are going somewhere for a few days and you don't want to have to take a full size bottle just throw a few of these in your toiletry bag. Not going somewhere why not donate them to a homeless shelter woman's shelter nursing home or you can make up boxes with toiletry's your free food free magazine subscriptions and a few other goodies and send them to the soldiers!!

5) free food samples make up a basket off all the different food samples and donate it to your local food bank women's shelter or homeless shelters!

6) Coupons and or formula checks... Sign up for a good coupon but don't use that product no problem... Alot of people sell their coupons on eBay trade coupons for other coupons they don't need or you can start a coupon swap at your work where everyone brings in some coupons and swaps for ones they need. I personally enjoy playing coupon fairy which is where I will leave a coupon by the product in the store for someone else to enjoy the great deals and savings. You can also join a coupon train there are tons of them all over the Internet... Or start one your self... If you get a coupon that will make some free you could always just use it and donate the product!

At my Target the Edge shave gels are priced at $2.24 and right now Target has a coupon out for $1.50 off any edge or skintimate shaving cream and in last weeks paper there was a manufactures coupon out for .75 off any edge shaving cream. So according to Targets coupon policy you can combine one Target and one manufacture coupon per item so I was able to score about 15 of these for free the other day!! (I got my Target coupons a few months back before they went high) but I am sure you can still score some off ebay and in some Target stores!
